On his debut at The Classic Lizard Canary Association show, Novice Essex exhibitor Darren Keeley benched best bird in show with a dark coloured Non Cap Gold Hen. Darren fought off many quality Lizards in a show which saw the highest Novice entry for decades. Darren’s winning Lizard was awarded Best Lizard in show, Best Novice and Best Non Cap. This jaunty little bird, displayed lovely spangles and a steadiness that caught the eye of Judge John Martin.
